Pre-SCCA MiDiv Practice Day at MPH

MPH will be hosting a pre-SCCA MiDiv Practice afternoon for all MiDiv Registered participants, Friday, August 8. This event is open to both TT and Dog Days of Summer Major racers. We will be running
two different run groups: one for TT drivers and one for Major racers, 30-minute alternating  

General Schedule for Friday's Practice / Test & Tune:
10 AM: Gate Opens for participant load in / RV parking
12:30 PM: Driver's Meeting
1 -5 PM: Track hot (30 minute, alternating sessions: TT & Race Group)

Note: because this is strictly a "Practice / Test & Tune", the hot track sessions will be operated under our MPH Guardrail Club driving rules: Three passing zones with point-bys required (See track map below). Pit road may be used for tire pressure/temperature adjustments and MINOR vehicle adjustments. NO JACKSTANDS on pit road. No passengers.

MPH PADDOCK RULES
* Paddock Speed Limit: 10 MPH
* Share the space with your neighbors: be courteous and considerate of your fellow racers
* PLEASE place wood under all trailer tires, trailer tongue jacks, trailer support jacks, jack stands and RV tires (wood is available at all RV Spots)
* NO DRILLING holes or hammering stakes in to the asphalt surface to anchor canopies or awnings
* PLEASE report / clean up / apply oil dry to all oil and gas spills
* Place trash in blue / white garbage cans located throughout the paddock and under the Raceport
* Used oil and brake fluid may be disposed of in the "Used Oil" container which is located between the two, large white storage containers located EAST of the Restroom/Shower facility
* NO STANDING on picnic tabletops
* Use properly-supported (wood) jackstands when working under a vehicle
* Note location of Fire Extinguishers (hanging on support poles under the Raceport and on the canopy near the Grid area)
* Self-serve / honor-pay ICE is available in the small building attached to the NORTH side of the Restroom / Shower Facility ($5 for 10 lbs bags)

RACE FUEL
Note: MPH does not have fuel on-site. The Pump & Pantry station/truck stop, located just 1/4-mile WEST of MPH along US Hwy 6 has 100 octane (no alcohol) race gas, as well as 87 octane (E0), 88 octane (E15) and 91 octane (E0) gas available at their pumps. They also have diesel for tow rigs.
